The Middleweight contest of UFC Vegas 24 features the fight between Abdul Razak Alhassan (10-3) and Jacob Malkoun (4-1). Alhassan is coming in this fight with two consecutive losses in his previous fights and Malkoun faced the first loss of his MMA career in his last fight.

Round 1: Alhassan landed few strikes early in the fight but Malkoun immediately shoots for an inside leg and took Alhassan to the canvas. He wants to secure a guillotine but Alhassan protected his neck. Malkoun landed few elbows before they finally separated.

They both are again in clinch towards the age, Malkoun landed few left hands. Alhassan landed a kick to the body and Malkoun missed a high kick just as the horn sounds.

Round 2: Alhassan landed an early jab, Malkoun changed the levels and again took the action to the floor. Alhassan wraps the neck as he stands but Malkoun lifts him up and slammed him on the canvas. Malkoun tried to grab the neck and look to finish the fight with a guillotine but Alhassan survives.

They get up again and traded some shots. Malkoun again tried to shoot a double leg but Alhassan stays up until the round ends.

Round 3: They traded some heavy shots to start the round. Malkoun again tried to change levels but this time Alhassan defended it. Malkoun did a great job of striking and pressing the action against the cage. Alhassan is again down and keeping his guard up. Alhassan stayed on the canvas for a while as the round ends.

Result: Jacob Malkoun def Abdul Razak Alhassan via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
