Both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will culminate with the finals taking place at the next PLE in Saudi Arabia. The SmackDown side of the bracket for both tournaments was recently announced by WWE. The blue brand’s Queen of the Ring tournament seems stacked, including huge names like Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill

The Women’s Tag Team Champions will participate in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament on the next episode of SmackDown. The former Women’s Champion will face off against Candice LeRae. Meanwhile, her partner is set to go one-on-one with Piper Niven. Additionally, their ‘Big 3’ stablemate Naomi will face the newly drafted Nia Jax

WWE has not announced the fourth match for the SmackDown side of the Queen of the Ring tournament. It is rumored that the last match will take place at a live event similar to that of the Raw side. Unlike the men’s tournament, the promotion has also not announced the exact brackets for the women’s tournament.

This means that fans do not yet know the pairings for round 2. With both of these women being the favorites going into the tournament, many have wondered if there was a chance of these two facing each other later in the tournament. Considering that they are a tag team at the moment, it would be highly interesting to see how a Jade Cargill vs. Bianca Belair match pans out.

Booker T lauds WWE for pairing up Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair

Many wrestling superstars and legends have commended the WWE for their decision to pair up Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Joining the list is Booker T, who, in his Hall of Fame podcast, said that this tag team was a formidable idea by the Stamford-based promotion.

The Hall of Famer mentioned that putting these two female superstars together made for a h*ll of a duo. Moreover, he emphasized that it was a win-win situation. Booker claimed that there was a lot that the promotion could get out of this partnership. Additionally, they could potentially build to an angle where the pair breaks up and eventually squares off in the ring.

While the 59-year-old was uncertain about how long the duo would stick together, he felt that there was a lot one could learn by being part of a tag team. He added that this team would benefit Cargill a lot more than Belair. The EST had already been the longest-reigning women’s champion of the modern era and had been to the mountaintop. However, one could not attach a price to the on-the-job training and experience that the former AEW star was receiving.
