The WWE Universe was excited to see Jade Cargill participate in the ongoing Queen of the Ring tournament. This puts the rising star into a highly prestigious tournament alongside her peers. Additionally, it also gives fans a chance to see the 31-year-old in singles action, something they haven’t seen much from her yet.
During the first round of the tournament, Jade Cargill faced off against Piper Niven. After a hard-hitting match, The Storm came out on top and will proceed to the second round of the tournament. She put on an impressive show, adding new moves to her arsenal and displaying athleticism fans hadn’t seen from her before. This performance surely went a long way in silencing her critics.
Despite some outside interference from Chelsea Green, Cargill did not back down. She eventually hit her finisher ‘Jaded’ to put away the Scottish wrestler. This was only the second singles match for the former AEW superstar since stepping into WWE.

The Stamford-based company has put a lot of trust in Jade Cargill. She has been presented as a superstar and even captured gold in her second PLE match, excluding the Rumble. Her stardom has further been solidified with a victory over Piper Niven. Not only is the Vixen of Violence a former Women’s Tag Team Champion, but she has been in the wrestling world for over a decade.
When can fans expect to see Jade Cargill vs. Bianca Belair?
Just like her tag team partner, Bianca Belair also won her match in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament. The EST defeated Candice LeRae with her signature Kiss of Death and moved on to the next round as well.
With the Women’s Tag Team Champions showing no signs of slowing down, fans can only expect that they will soon collide. While WWE announced that the champions would be a part of the Queen of the Ring tournament, they did not announce the exact brackets for the women on the blue brand.
If they are not taken out in the next round, Cargill and Bianca Belair will likely face each other in the finals. Or perhaps even the second round of the SmackDown side of the Queen of the Ring tournament. While many expected to see this match at WrestleMania XL following their Royal Rumble staredown, putting this match on SmackDown with minimal build would be a huge shocker.
