Cody Rhodes has played various characters and gimmicks on screen in WWE as well as other wrestling promotions. However, today, he is synonymous with his iconic American Nightmare persona, symbolized by the logo tattooed on his neck. Top WWE Superstar Jade Cargill may have taken a page out of his playbook and teased getting something similar herself.

Jade Cargill recently posted an Instagram story showing off a tattoo on her neck, which she claimed was inspired by Rhodes. She had a small ice cream tattooed on her neck, which read out ‘Best Day Ever.’ The tattoo looked like it was made using temporary paint and will not be a permanent addition to the former AEW star’s neck.

Tattoos are an iconic part of professional wrestling, and many superstars such as Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, and Batista have sported iconic tattoos that cannot be forgotten by fans. The WWE Undisputed Champion debuted his tattoo at the AEW Revolution Pay-Per-View on February 29, 2020, ahead of his match against MJF.

She even booked the tattoo maker for her brother in Georgia. Meanwhile, Tony Khan said that it was a great trope for a professional wrestler to have.

Another segment of the WWE Universe seemed to be a huge fan of the way the tattoo looked. They opined that the SmackDown superstar should seriously consider getting something permanent on her neck. Furthermore, they even joked that Rhodes and Cargill should form their faction, where each member has a tattoo on their neck.

Cody Rhodes took somewhat of a risk when he debuted this tattoo in 2020. He faced a lot of criticism from fans and even wrestlers after the show. Despite this initial mockery, it became an iconic professional wrestling tattoo over time. Today, it is a huge part of his brand and identity.
