“I am so sorry!!!!” Jade Cargill’s wholesome gesture after inadvertently ‘DISAPPOINTING’ her fan on SmackDown wins hearts
After missing out on what could've been an incredible fan interaction on SmackDown, Jade Cargill has made some amends.

This week’s SmackDown in Greenville saw Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defend their women’s tag team titles. They breezed past a feeble outing from the NXT duo of Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. All in all, the champs reigned supreme. But in hindsight, what must’ve made Jade rue the day was not noticing a fan-made signboard that was meant for her.
Amanda, the said fan, posted on X how she was sad that Cargill didn’t spot her. Responding to the despondent girl, The Storm apologized for not turning to her section. Not only that, but she also assured her fan of the tickets to the next show. This gesture from Jade has won over many hearts on social media, and rightfully so.
Cargill’s been on a roll with Belair backing her up. With each passing day, the former AEW star is growing in confidence. It’d be pivotal to her inevitable singles run in WWE. The 32-year-old has been pretty vocal about how having someone like The EST by her side is a blessing for her. They complement each other well, and that’s evident by their on-screen chemistry.
Last month, Jade completed one year with WWE. She was brought in as a heavily touted free agent. While some remain critical of her current positioning on the roster, it’s not perennial. A long while ago, WWE CCO Triple H alluded to Cargill’s limited wrestling repertoire. While doing so, the 14-time World Champion took a shot at AEW president Tony Khan for not honing her as a performer.
As a result, WWE had Jade run errands to the performance center longer than they would’ve intended to. Her WWE in-ring debut was delayed significantly to the point where she didn’t arrive before the women’s Royal Rumble match in January.
Jade Cargill doubles down on her early AEW struggles
It doesn’t seem like Jade Cargill is too fond of her wrestling roots. AEW was the first major company that signed her to a contract in 2020. It was November. Her singles debut didn’t happen until March, where she put away Dani Jordyn.
In a recent interview, The Storm detailed the lack of direction she had in All Elite Wrestling. She elucidated a lot about being unaware of what her role was. Moreover, Cargill wasn’t endowed with the pertinent preparation that she sorely needed at that time.
Reacting to that story of hers on X, she affirmed that it’s a thing of her past. Jade urged to turn the page on as she’s focused on her next goal. Back in August, she told a reporter at the Bash in Berlin press conference that she’d become tired of answering stuff about AEW.
