Jaden Ivey Drags Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan into Online Rant
The Chicago Bulls released Jaden Ivey less than two months after sending Kevin Huerter to the Detroit Pistons in a swap.

- Jaden Ivey was released by the Chicago Bulls after struggling with injuries and posting controversial comments on social media.
- He criticized Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan, questioning their faith and the significance of their championship rings.
- Ivey expressed confusion over his release, claiming his conduct was not detrimental to the team while he was rehabbing.
With Jaden Ivey on his way home, after the Chicago Bulls released him earlier, the guard now has to wait and see how his NBA career turns out.
The 6’3″ guard was already done for the season after struggling with an injury to his left knee. Since that needed a good recovery process, the Purdue star had to sit out after playing just four games for the Bulls.
The franchise had hoped that whenever he was ready, they would be able to tap into the talent that led the Detroit Pistons to select him fifth overall in the 2022 draft.
Had it not been for a season-ending injury to his right knee, he might have stayed true to his predraft hype. Instead, once the Pistons became Eastern Conference heavyweights, they decided Ivey was a luxury they could afford to do without and traded him to the Bulls.
Times have changed, and now Jaden Ivey is out of a job. With all those hopes dashed after the guard posted anti-LGBTQ comments on his way to the airport, he was not done. Now, he wanted to talk about ‘Judgement Day.’
He (Stephen Curry) don’t know Jesus. I pray he comes to know the truth. That he and his family be saved in Jesus name… Because all that stuff isn’t gon matter on Judgement Day. All them rings he got. All them rings LeBron got. All them rings Michael Jordan got.

“He don't know Jesus… I pray he's saved in Jesus name… All that stuff isn't gon matter on Judgement Day. All them rings he got. All them rings LeBron got. All them rings Jordan got… They gon try to stop me, but I'm not. I'ma keep… pic.twitter.com/le7DbEVgKG
The 24-year-old was trying to imply that, despite his claims, Stephen Curry is not a true Christian, and that his four championship rings will not matter when Judgement Day comes. He had the same opinion about LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
Jaden Ivey questions Bulls’ motive after release
This rant was while Jaden Ivey was on the flight back home after the Chicago Bulls released him. A short while earlier, when he was at the San Antonio International Airport, he was still on Instagram Live, where he said this:

They said your conduct has been detrimental to the team… I haven’t even been with the team because I’ve been rehabbing. So, how is my conduct detrimental to the team?
Jaden Ivey said
The Purdue alum mentioned that had he said anything negative about his Bulls teammates or the organization, then he would have been engaging in ‘conduct detrimental to the team.’

Since he did not, he asked why the franchise decided to release him. Nothing he said was against anyone associated with the Bulls.
Now, it will be a waiting game to see if any other franchise wants to offer Ivey a chance to play in the NBA again. If not, he could also proceed with a legal fight to earn his job back. Ivey clearly does not believe anything he said was ‘conduct detrimental to the team.’
Jaden Ivey’s rant stops after flight attendants ask him to
Jaden Ivey was on Instagram Live all throughout his time from the hotel up until his flight. After talking about Stephen Curry and other not being true Christians, he went on to talk about his faith one more time.
The world ain’t offer nothing, there’s nothing good… Nothing good in the world besides following Jesus Christ.

A short while after these words, two flight attendants came over and asked the now-former Chicago Bulls guard to stop his live stream as it was interfering with onboard communications systems.

When he asked if he could resume once the plane had completed its takeoff procedure, they agreed he could. Then, one flight attendant asked him to ‘wrap up’ his livestream before the plane left its holding area.
