McDaniels got the ball in front of an open basket in the last second of the 4th quarter. He bounced the ball in front of the basket and performed a dunk on the Nuggets side. Fans were amazed by this, with one fan claiming, a brawl could have broken down.
On the contrary, Jokic and Murray’s efforts in game 7 went in vain as they did not receive any support from their teammates. Jokic dropped 34 points on the Timberwolves’ side whereas Murray scored 35 points despite being on the losing side of the match.
Anthony Edwards makes an honest admission about his performance in game 7 against the Nuggets
The Minnesota Timberwolves star player, Anthony Edwards has been top-notch for his side this NBA 2023-24 season and NBA playoffs. However, in game 7 against the Nuggets, he particularly had an off-night as per his standards, scoring only 16 points with a 6 for 24 shooting.
Many people, including Edwards, were startled by Ant-Man’s low shooting %. However, Edwards made an honest admission about himself and claimed in the post-match press conference that he was “thrash” alongside his teammate, Karl Anthony-Towns.
Damn, I'm trash. 6 for 24.. Look at me, 2 for 10. S**t.Anthony Edwards at the post-game presser
Irrespective of his figures, Edwards delivered his usual assured showing and turned things over. After 20 years, the Timberwolves have advanced to the conference finals under Edwards’ leadership. Despite his bad performance in game 7 of the NBA playoffs, Ant-Man was instrumental in the team’s victory.
