In the current boxing scenario, the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has a lot of intrigue surrounding it. Interestingly, several developments have been ongoing in and around that matchup. However, in the middle of that, Paul expressed his frustration with some of the undercard fighters who picked Tyson as the winner of their bout.
The pre-fight press conference for the highly anticipated Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight card went viral. Known for stirring up trouble, the ‘Problem Child’ lived up to his reputation once again. During the presser, Ariel Helwani asked the undercard fighters for their predictions on the main event. Most of the fighters expressed their support for ‘Iron Mike’. However, Paul did not take this well and reacted angrily.
The 27-year-old boxer grabbed the microphone and walked across the stage, urging the undercard fighters to wager different amounts of money. He challenged well-known boxers like Bruce Carrington and Neeraj Goyat to bet substantial portions of their purses.

Despite his bold demands, the undercard fighters seemed confident in Tyson’s abilities. In fact, Katie Taylor didn’t hesitate to put her match purse on the line for the main event bout. Ahead of fight week, Iron Mike has shared several glimpses of his training regime. In the footage, the boxing legend confidently showcases his sharp movement and impressive power.
Notably, in one of the clips, Tyson brutally dropped his sparring partner. This may be one reason why the undercard boxers favor Tyson to win against Paul. However, there was one boxer who chose the Problem Child as the winner.
Amanda Serrano picks Jake Paul over legend Mike Tyson
Jake Paul is a rising boxer who made his professional debut in 2020. Although Paul has performed exceptionally well since then, he has also faced intense scrutiny for selecting easier opponents. Currently, he is scheduled to face one of the most decorated opponents ever. Amidst the recent scary threats from Tyson, Paul is confident in his abilities to beat the boxing legend.
Similarly, even one of his closest friends, Amanda Serrano has also asserted confidence in the Problem Child. Although in the pre-fight presser, several undercard boxers picked Tyson as their predicted winner, Serrano stood out as the only one to pick Paul for the upcoming showdown.
Interestingly, Serrano is a multiple world boxing title holder who signed with Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions in 2021. Since then, they have developed a strong camaraderie. The two, Serrano and Paul, have trained together on several occasions. Due to this, the Puerto Rican boxer may have placed her bet on the “Problem Child” instead of Tyson.
