Hate him or like him, but Jake Paul is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about names in the current boxing scenario. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has made a name for himself by beating some of the respected names in MMA and boxing. Now, he has also shifted his focus from boxing to other combat sports promotions, utilizing his brand name.

Paul’s betting platform, Betr, has exploded in popularity, gaining traction fast with fans due to aggressive marketing and influencer-driven strategies. Recently, Betr partnered with Glory Kickboxing, marking a bold expansion move and introducing Paul’s brand to a broader audience globally. During the event, Glory CEO Marshall Zelaznik hinted at Paul potentially entering kickboxing.

Don’t put anything past Jake. He’s doing what he’s doing. I have been a boxing fan for a long time. What he’s doing is incredible. He’s brought a whole new set of fans. So many influencers and creators doing fights.

Paul revolutionized boxing by leveraging social media fame, drawing millions of young followers who previously ignored the sport entirely. He created viral hype around events, such as his fight with Tyron Woodley, which captivated mainstream audiences and trended globally online. By blending entertainment with competition, the younger Paul brother attracted influencers, YouTubers, and casual fans, refreshing boxing’s aging fan base.

His promotion of undercard fighters, like Amanda Serrano, gave lesser-known athletes major exposure and elevated women’s boxing significantly worldwide. On top of that, he openly spoke about the fighter’s purse and accused UFC CEO Dana White of exploitation. Paul didn’t only resort to fighting, but indulged himself directly in the business, which opened up his opportunities.

He has fought some of the biggest retired names from UFC, including Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva and has beaten them in boxing. His only loss came against Tommy Fury, who is the only professional boxer of his age on his resume. Paul’s last fight was against the legendary Mike Tyson at the age of 58, whom he beat with ease.

Jake Paul’s brother defends the online criticism

After all that, Jake Paul still remains unlikable to many due to his arrogant persona. He often trash-talks legends like Canelo Alvarez. Critics argue he cherry-picks opponents, like fighting retired MMA fighters instead of prime boxers, diminishing his credibility. For his fight against Mike Tyson, he received flak from all over the world, but it didn’t stop him.

Despite his business success, his brash attitude, flashy lifestyle, and controversial antics continue to alienate traditional boxing fans. He is currently scheduled to fight former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the Honda Center in California. Ahead of the fight, his older brother Logan Paul talked about it in detail

It’s definitely his toughest fight. I don’t understand why people are hating on him. He’s not fighting tomato cans. Every single person that he fought had a chance to him and bdw people believed that they would probably be going to beat him. This guy is a real boxer. So, it will be another opportunity to show that Jake Paul is a real boxer.

Logan Paul recently achieved massive success in WWE, overcoming doubt with athletic performances and dedication to entertaining crowds. Much like Jake, Logan faced early criticism, yet proved himself through dramatic storylines and delivering on big pay-per-view stages. His match against Ricochet at SummerSlam showcased real talent, changing fan perception and silencing doubters across the wrestling community.

Both the Paul brothers are undoubtedly one of the most controversial duos in YouTube history, however, their recent success is evident. Both have millions of followers and can sell PPVs, making them good opponents that even Conor McGregor can’t ignore. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see whether Paul manages to win his toughest fight on June 28th.
