Yesterday, the renowned sports business news outlet Sportico published its list of the top 100 highest-paid athletes for the year 2024. Notably, six prominent professional boxers also made it onto the list. Among them was a surprising inclusion: rising boxing star Jake Paul also ranked among the top 100 highest-paid athletes of 2024.

The ‘Problem Child’ was ranked 52 with earnings of $48 million. Interestingly, this placed him above veteran boxer Naoya Inoue, who ranked 81st with earnings of $42 million. Other notable boxers included Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Canelo Alvarez, and Anthony Joshua, all of whom had higher earnings than Paul. Notably, both Fury and Usyk were even ranked in the top 10.

In 2024, the ‘Problem Child’ competed three times. In March, Paul defeated Ryan Bourland by first-round TKO. He then faced Mike Perry in July, securing a comfortable victory. Paul later fought boxing legend Mike Tyson in a record-breaking event that was live-streamed on Netflix. Despite the controversy surrounding the bout, Paul won against the former two-time heavyweight champion by decision.
