Conor McGregor remains the biggest name in the UFC despite years of inactivity, maintaining his influence through controversy and business ventures. His frequent disputes with internet personalities keep him in the headlines, fueling ongoing media attention and fan speculation. Recently, his feud with Jake Paul escalated further, drawing significant attention from both the MMA and influencer communities worldwide.

McGregor and Paul met at Donald Trump‘s inauguration in DC, where Logan Paul also joined their discussions about a rumored fight. They talked about potential matchups and exchanged words, fueling speculation among fans. In a recent interview, Jake Paul was asked about McGregor’s inactivity and tendency to make bold claims, for which Paul had a sneaky reply.

I don’t think so, man. He is under contract with his owner Dana, and he’s just not his own boss, and he can’t make his own decisions, and he’s just an owned puppet. So, I feel bad for the poor guy. Plus, on top of that, he’s a crackhead. So, it’s just a really tough situation for him, and we would both love to beat his a**

Logan Paul agreed with Jake, saying they could both defeat McGregor in a boxing match without question. He claimed the UFC wouldn’t risk their biggest pay-per-view star getting knocked out by a YouTuber in the ring. According to him, the UFC canceled fight negotiations to protect McGregor from potential embarrassment and damage to his reputation.

McGregor’s contract drama with the UFC has sparked debates, with fans questioning his future amid ongoing negotiations and uncertainties. The Irish fighter has two fights left in the contract, but it seems like he doesn’t want to continue fighting in UFC. His latest press conference suggested that McGregor was currently more focused on his presidential dream.

His outspoken nature and patriotic stance has already made him a controversial yet compelling figure in Ireland’s evolving political landscape. After his announcement, many in the MMA community shared their opinions, including Justin Gaethje. During a recent surprise call with Daniel Cormier, Gaethje made fun McGregor’s plans.

Daniel, stop calling me for this dumb s***. Terrible question. He doesn’t know s***  about Ireland, and he doesn’t f***ing care. America, baby.

It is a similar sentiment that is now shared by millions of fans who were previously excited about McGregor’s comeback.
