Dak Prescott suffered a rather big blow ahead of the Dallas Cowboys’ crucial Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Prescott was named to Jake Paul‘s list of most overrated athletes.
The news came a few days after the Cowboys defeated the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, in a 24-21 thriller. Prescott completed 63% of his passes for 354 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception, and 1 rushing touchdown. He finished with a quarterback rating of 114.3.
Although the 32-year-old has an outside chance of becoming the NFL MVP, Jake Paul believes that fans give him far more credit than he deserves. According to the YouTuber-turned-boxing star, Prescott is the sixth most overrated athlete on his list.
Paul’s list contained some shocking names. For instance, he considers one of the most decorated baseball players of his generation, Babe Ruth, as the most overrated athlete in history.
1. Babe Ruth 2. Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence 3. Cristiano Ronaldo 4. Ryan Garcia 5. Conor McGregor 6. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott 7. Anthony Edwards 8. Canelo Álvarez 9. Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa 10. Anthony Joshua.

Prescott hasn’t reacted to the list yet. He is focused on giving his 100% against the Chiefs. Prescott ranks third with 2941 passing yards after 11 games, 23 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. He ranks 4th in off-play action with 0.33 EPA/DB.

Dak Prescott is wary of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes
The Chiefs-Cowboys game is shaping up to be a big affair. Two teams with contrasting pasts clash at AT&T Stadium in a battle for pride and bragging rights.

KC won three of the last five Super Bowls, whereas the Americas Team last appeared in the football’s greatest fixture in 1996. However, the Cowboys hold the upper hand over the Chiefs. Jones’ team is 7-5 and hasn’t lost against the Chiefs in Dallas for over 50 years.

Despite that incredible stat, the Chiefs defeated the Cowboys in their last meeting, which took place during the 2021 season. Both Prescott and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw one interception each in that game.
The Chiefs haven’t had a great 2025-26 campaign, and after their recent win over the Colts, they stand on a 6-5 record. Despite holding a 1-1 record against the Chiefs in his career, Prescott is wary of Mahomes and his clutch abilities. Prescott said via Ed Werder:
Everything in his game. The way he plays it, at the end of the day, obviously talent jumps out, but you watch a guy who plays with pure passion, who’ll do anything it takes to win.
