Jake Paul does not seem to like Bad Bunny performing the Super Bowl 60 halftime show and prefers it was an 'American.'

As Bad Bunny gears up to perform in the Super Bowl 60 Halftime show, there is a sense of intrigue, especially when it comes to right-wingers, such as boxer Jake Paul, who have not supported this decision by the NFL.
Starting with President Donald Trump, many in his administration and those who lean to the right have been critical of the NFL deciding to go with a musician whose primary language is not English. Naturally, Bunny’s anti-ICE statements compounded matters, and the government issued threats of ICE officers being present in and around Levi’s Stadium during Super Bowl 60.
Despite all that, the league has gone ahead with its plans and also recruited rock band Green Day, who are also known for their anti-Trump stance, to perform.
Purposefully turning off the halftime show.

Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them).
You are their benefit. Realize you have power.
Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.

Turn off this halftime. A fake American…
This was social media influencer and part-time boxer Jake Paul, who tried to rally fans to boycott Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 60 halftime show by claiming it to be ‘un-American.’
Fans tear into Jake Paul for hypocritical stance on Puerto Rican Bad Bunny’s halftime show
Jake Paul probably noticed that millions of this post went live. However, maybe he was not prepared for the backlash that came along with it.
Fans pointed out his hypocrisy, as the boxer works with Netflix and Google to earn millions while putting up below-average performances. On top of that, to avoid taxes, he stays in Puerto Rico. Check out examples of those reactions below:

Don’t you live in Puerto Rico?

Let’s not pretend that if the Super Bowl was streaming on Netflix you’d be saying this 😂

If Netflix wanted bad bunny to perform on your next fight, you’d be promoting it.
You’re bought and sold just like everyone else
But you rep Puerto Rico and train there

Any particular reason why you don't want to watch an American citizen perform in the half time show of the Superbowl?
— Optimisic Depressed LeHouston Fan (@LehoustonFan) February 8, 2026
You also live in Puerto Rico to dodge high taxes, grifters go crazy 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why does MAGA love cancel culture?
— Ghost Of Epstein (@GhostOfJE) February 8, 2026
Didn’t you make all your money off Google and YouTube? Pretty big corporation that does whatever it wants without consequences.

Stop benefiting from your tax incentives in Puerto Rico, hypocrite.
— infusionvictor (@infusionvictor) February 8, 2026
Oh… We’re good enough for your tax breaks in Puerto Rico and to cheer your fake boxing fights. You are just another racist. A fake Puerto Rican neighbor.

Jake Paul might be trying to relay what he thinks is patriotism. However, fans also reminded him that non-American performers have headlined Super Bowl halftime shows in the past, but never faced such opposition.
Jake Paul’s brother, Logan Paul, also dismisses Super Bowl halftime show
Jake Paul tried to rally fans to boycott Bad Bunny‘s halftime performance. However, whether it works or not is something that only viewership ratings will be able to confirm.

At least he will have his family’s support, primarily from his brother and WWE star Logan Paul, who had this to say when asked if he was excited to watch the Super Bowl 60 halftime show.
No!
Logan Paul told FOX News
This blunt answer might be the most he would like to talk about the show. It seems one side is determined to boycott and rather watch Turning Point USA’s halftime show, because it features MAGA supporting artists.

They want to expand the game and make it a globally accepted sport in time for the 2028 Olympics. After all, Roger Goodell has set Apple’s valuation metrics as the benchmark.
