Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton seem to be enjoying their off-season trying their hand at a different sport, the WWE. Notably, Brunson attended WWE SmackDown on June 28th at Madison Square Garden (also the New York Knicks’ home arena). He got involved in the action, blocking Pacers’ Haliburton from assisting Logan Paul in a triple-threat battle versus LA Knight and Santos Escobar.

Interestingly, Brunson attended the Ringer Wrestler Show recently, discussing updates to the biggest matches, hottest feuds, and analysis of all the latest developments from the wild world of professional wrestling. However, Brunson was asked about the possibility of entering the ring to face Halibruton.

These statements have drawn much attention from basketball fans, with many wanting to see this matchup happen between the two basketball stars.

It’s important to note that, Haliburton and Brunson share a good bond and have been teammates before entering the NBA. Both stars respect and admire each other. Interestingly, Haliburton’s Pacers knocked out Brunson’s Knicks this past 2023-24 season in the NBA playoffs. It will be intriguing to watch how the two stars perform for their respective side in the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season.
