“This is only the beginning…,” Jalen Hurts sound off warning to rest of league after winning Super Bowl LIX MVP
Jalen Hurts was criticized all season long as the Philadelphia Eagles continued to win games on their way to reach Super Bowl LIX.

Super Bowl LIX saw the Kansas City Chiefs lose at the hands of a dominant Philadelphia Eagles team that left no stone unturned. At the same time, Jalen Hurts played a solid efficient game to be named the game’s MVP.
That award would be laughed off as soon as three weeks ago as critics continuously bashed the Eagles QB. They felt he was not good enough to lead his team to the big game. All season long, he has had quiet games that went on to suggest that he was either inept, or he did not have it in him anymore.
Even his teammates calling out the passing game did not help matters. Then in the NFC Championship game, he showed his efficiency and drive as he threw for 246 yards. But more importantly, he racked up three touchdowns on the ground.
It seemed as if he was doing whatever was necessary for the Philadelphia Eagles to win. Then in Super Bowl LIX, despite an early interception, he continued to rack up yards whenever needed. After the NFL named him the Super Bowl LIX MVP, he said this to his doubters.
Things come right on time. I’m that same kid that went to the national championship and lost and went back and got benched and had to transfer. That kid always kept the main thing the main thing and always was true to his vision of what he saw. It’s only the beginning.

This was the 26-year-old right after the confetti shower stopped. He was ecstatic about winning Super Bowl LIX and the MVP. But then, his words sounded like a warning for the rest of the league. If he stays motivated and the Eagles build a dynasty, it could be a problem for the rest of the league.
Jalen Hurts and Eagles could be next dynasty
Hurts might be holding a massive $255 million contract, but the way it is structured, the Philadelphia Eagles will only face a $21.8 million cap hit next season. Such a team friendly contract can only help the reigning Super Bowl champions heading into next season.

They have a plethora of free agents they need to sign, and that favorable cap hit will work in their favor. The season after that, his cap hit rises by $10 million. With the way the salary cap is rising in the league every season, his team will have enough to sign reinforcements.
The Eagles will owe Jalen Hurts $47.5 million in the final year of his current deal. In a time when top contracts go for near about $60 million a season, the Eagles have a bargain contract at QB. They could use this to spearhead a Super Bowl run over the next few years.
If the team stay motivated, they could push the Kansas City Chiefs aside as the next great dynasty in the NFL. Jalen Hurts is motivated to keep winning. Now all the team needs is to place the perfect solutions for him to lead them to it.
