Jalen Hurts’ Super Bowl LIX wasn’t just a triumph on the field; it was a statement etched in history– and on his feet. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback led his team to a decisive 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, wearing custom Air Jordan 11 PEs but little did fans know those cleats had a special message engraved for the NFL star.

Hurts’ admiration for Michael Jordan is no secret as he partnered with the Jordan Brand in 2023. In fact, he made headlines for wearing custom red and black Air Jordan 1st inscribed with “unbannable,” reflecting his bold choice of fashion despite previously being fined for violating NFL uniform regulations.

Being a Jordan Brand athlete, the Eagles star signal-caller also received a special message from the NBA legend Jordan– whose stardom inspired Nike for the separate sneakers line named for him. Right after winning the NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders, Hurts received a message from Jordan and Derek Jeter, expressing their confidence in him for securing the Super Bowl LIX trophy and he stood by that.
