UFC 311 turned out to be a massive success for the promotion as it was filled with incredible fights. Jamahal Hill had high expectations going into UFC 311 to fight Jiri Prochazka for a much anticipated light heavyweight clash. However, the night didn’t end well for the American, who lost the bout via TKO.
Ahead of the fight, Hill promised to put on a show and get back into title contention. However, it was a disappointing loss that left the former champion in tears. Videos of the American fighter having a breakdown behind the backstage have captured the attention of many fight fans.
It was a competitive fight in the beginning as both fighters found initial success with their strikes. However, Jiri Prochazka is known for thriving in the chaos and that’s exactly what he did in the third round. His awkward foot movement and striking were too much for Hill to handle.
Jamahal Hill came to the fight with a loss on his back that took place last year against Alex Pereira. Ahead of the fight, he made fun of Prochazka, which attracted a lot of criticism from fight fans. However, seeing him breaking down like that after the loss changed the public sentiment towards the fighter.

Jiri Prochazka was there to bounce back from his last loss at UFC 303 and did exactly the same in the fight. All his unorthodox fighting techniques and training methods paid off as the Czech superstar didn’t leave any doubts among fans. It seems like all that traveling in Spain, Mexico and Japan certainly helped the fighter.
After winning the bout, he immediately called out the light heavyweight Alex Pereira for a trilogy fight. With two losses against the Brazilian, Prochazka is still ready to go again. It is something Jamahal Hill wanted to do if he would have won. Nevertheless, here are some reactions to Hill’s viral video.
Many fight fans sympathized with Jamahal Hill after they saw him crying like that after UFC 311. They pointed out how the fighter got on the wrong side of the fans with his trash-talking irrespective of being a good guy. However, some still continued he trolling citing that the fighter deserves it given his past antics.
