Ja’Marr Chase, who is still waiting for a contract extension, claims Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry pairing is so good it’s borderline “cheating”
Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase said having Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson on the same team feels like playing against a custom-built Madden team.

Ja’Marr Chase thinks Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry playing for the same team is equivalent to ‘cheating’ a few days before the Cincinnati Bengals play their divisional foes, the Baltimore Ravens. According to him, they are the real-life Madden duo that nobody wants to defend against.
Jackson was already a 2x NFL MVP by using his arms and feet. When the Ravens added Henry, every football fan knew the pair would be very exciting to watch on the field—not so much for the opposing team.
On Thursday, reporters asked Chase to describe Jackson and Henry’s partnership so far this season. The all-pro receiver had a great response to the question.

Chase doesn’t always praise players of the other team. He is often pictured as taking jabs at others, so it’s a refreshing change for once.
Even Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow recently said that he has to play ‘damn near perfect’ to outscore the combination of Jackson and Henry, and for good reason.
How important is it to get off to a fast start vs Baltimore?

They manhandled the Buffalo Bills, who were 3-0 before they faced the Ravens in week 4. While the all-pro running back was just 1 yard short of 200 rushing yards for one touchdown, Jackson contributed with more than 220 combined yards and 3 touchdowns.
Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry have been a thorn in every NFL team’s side
The Ravens are among the favorites to appear in the Super Bowl in Louisiana next year. However, they got off to the worst possible start, losing back-to-back games.
The Ravens finally broke the circle in a closely contested fixture by defeating the Dallas Cowboys in week 3. John Harbaugh’s side finally found their extra gear in the Bills game.
So far, Derrick Henry leads the league in rushing yards with 480 and is tied for the most rushing touchdowns with five. Since the Tennessee Titans drafted Henry back in 2016, he has led the league with 9,982 rushing yards and 99 scrimmage touchdowns (95 rushing and 4 receiving touchdowns).

As for Lamar Jackson, he has tallied 858 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, and just one solitary interception in those games. The Ravens lead the league with 881 rushing yards.
According to the Associated Press, the Ravens can become the fifth team since 1980 and the first since the 2006 Atlanta Falcons—1,160 rushing yards—with at least 1,000 rushing yards in its first five games of a season.
