It is a shame that one of the best offensive teams in the NFL is unlikely to be in the playoffs this season. The Cincinnati Bengals have been lit out, with quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase consistently balling out. However, their defense this year has not played up to the mark.
It has been two years since the Cincinnati Bengals went to the Super Bowl, and given the team’s current situation, fans are becoming concerned about whether this team can get back there and win it all. One man, Jimmy Chase, the father of wideout Ja’Marr Chase, is confident that the Bengals will accomplish this feat very soon.

He hit the nail on the head with his analysis. The Bengals’ defense has been the reason for the team’s failure this year.
Jimmy Chase has faith in Joe Burrow and his son to bring a Super Bowl to Cincinnati
It is hard to not feel for Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase who are having exceptional years but it would have all been for nothing. The quarterback leads the NFL in terms of passing yards and touchdowns with 3,337 and 30 respectively.
Chase has the most receiving yards and touchdowns in the league with 1,142 and 13, respectively. The Bengals offense is one of the best in the NFL averaging 356 yards a game.
The team sits atop the league in terms of passing offense with an average of 264.3 yards per game as per FOX Sports. The same cannot be said for their defense, which sits at the bottom of the NFL.
Despite the setback faced by the team this season, Jimmy Chase is confident that Burrow and Chase will ultimately bring a Super Bowl to Cincinnati. He gave props to Tee Higgins, who missed a few games due to injuries.
If the Bengals prioritize keeping this offensive core intact and focusing on improving the defense in the off-season, this team will be a legitimate Super Bowl contender next year.
However, with the contract negotiations of Tee Higgins pending and Ja’Marr Chase, who is hoping to sign a new deal a year earlier, things will be tricky for the Bengals.
