Jameis Winston was over the moon seeing AJ Brown honoring his touchdown celebration request. The Super Bowl LIX was a special event and possibly a game-changer for Winston’s career.

During the tail end of the second quarter, the Philadelphia Eagles led the Kansas City Chiefs 17-0 in New Orleans. Brown masterfully performed the Cha Cha slide with Eagles offensive tackle Mekhi Beckton as his celebration. Winston, who was sitting in the stands, went bonkers, seeing Brown’s celly. He instantly recognized the moves.

I told him to do that celebration… this is epic. I’ve just been on the Jumbotron, and I technically celebrated in the Eagles’ end zone. Let’s go!

Jameis Winston told comedian Bert Kreischer, who sat next to him in the stands

During the media availability week, Winston requested Brown to do the Cha Cha Slide celebration when he scored a touchdown at Super Bowl LIX.

I know that at family reunions, we talk about the cha-cha slide. I want you to slide to the left, slide to the right, criss-cross, eat a W.

Jameis Winston told AJ Brown

After the Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22, Brown told the reporters that his touchdown celebration was inspired by Winston.

Winston, during the media week, asked Browns teammate Saquon Barkley to recommend him for the quarterback job. Barkley directed Winston to the New York Giants, but in the past week, fans witnessed a side of the former Saints, Buccaneers, and Browns QB that most knew he had. His chirpy personality made waves on social media. Fans began suggesting he switch careers and join media full-time.

AJ Brown was back to his old tricks after scoring his touchdown

When the Super Bowl was pretty much wrapped despite Patrick Mahomes’ late heroics, Brown decided to troll the Chiefs. Cameras caught him reading his favorite book ‘Inner Excellence,’ on the sideline.

Brown gained notoriety reading the Jim Murphy bestseller during the Eagles wild card win over the Green Bay Packers.

When reporters asked about his reading habit, the former second-rounder spoke about his favorite quote from the book.

We play the game to compete, we don’t play the game for the score. The score is for the fans.

AJ Brown said

The sales of the book skyrocketed after the incident. Brown even invited Murphy for a private dine-out later on.
