Jameis Winston is ready for Super Bowl LIX, and to make sure the Philadelphia Eagles are also on the same stratosphere as him, Jason Kelce asked the 31-year-old to deliver one of his iconic pre-game hype-up speeches. Winston did not disappoint.
During a recent episode of ESPN’s They Call It Late Night Jason Kelce, the former Eagles center, asked Winston to sign off the show with a hype-up speech dedicated to the Philly supporters. It doesn’t take much for Winston to whip up something out of nothing and he nailed it.
Winston began by saying, ‘I am built for this,’ and what followed can only be described as more of an old-school rap composition—those used to be the best hype-up renditions ever.

The Pro Bowler is an NFL-caliber quarterback, but fans also adore him for his chirpy personality and an innate talent for delivering memorable speeches. Last season when the Browns snapped the Baltimore Ravens’ winning streak, Winston made the headlines not for his game-winning stats but for his one-liner during a post-game interview.
Kelce found the right guy to pass the sermon on the Eagles ahead of facing the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.
Jameis Winston bags a special FOX gig for Super Bowl LIX
Similar to Kelce, the NFL did not want to pass up on the opportunity to have the sleek-talking Alabama native present during the Super Bowl. According to FOX Sports, Winston will be in their announcers’ booth when the Chiefs play the Eagles at Caesars Superdome on February 9.
Winston will join 7x Super Bowl winner and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Tom Brady and veteran announcer Kevin Burkhardt for game coverage. There’s bound to be a few catchphrases slipping out from the cubicle.
Jameis spent the 2024 season with the Browns after spending four seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He started seven games, winning twice, completing 181 passes for 2121 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
