James Harden has been fined with $50,000 after a video of him goes viral, which suggest he broke NBA’s Covid-19 protocols. In which the player is seen partying with strippers (possibly), mask less in a club. Harden has been all over the news in this off-season. First with his disputes with the Houston Rockets management asking for a trade. Then missing training sessions and being busy partying with rapper, Lil Baby. And now, this. Harden has denied that the party had strip girls and rather said it was for a ‘homegirl’.

Harden has even deleted his Instagram post without any explanation. The NBA authorities had already postponed today’s match between Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder. Under the impression that many Rockets’ players might have been contracted with the virus. But nothing for sure can be said, apart from the conclusive fact that Harden will not be suspended.

The Houston Rockets have been criticised by many for his actions. This too, will surely add to his burns. Especially after the 3-point marquee player was trolled for gaining weight on Twitter, this was the last thing he wanted. NBA commissioner Adam Silver and the league’s officiating body had told players prior to the season to avoid attending any parties or gatherings during the year due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

This is just the latest in James Harden’s offseason antics. Among NBA Trade Rumors, it has been suggested that the 31-year-old’s frustrations have boiled over into training after having a verbal argument with rookie Jae’Sean Tate in which the veteran threw a ball in Tate’s direction. Harden has made clear to the franchise that he wants out sooner rather than later which currently he is trying his best to make happen. But one thing is for sure, these actions will get him nowhere.

As time progresses, we will get to know more about this. But the scrutiny of James Harden and his horrific 2020-21 season continues.
