Stephen Curry and James Harden
The Los Angeles Clippers faced off against the Golden State Warriors away from home court in their third matchup of the 2024-25 NBA season. Interestingly, they came out victorious but were handed an advantage. The advantage was that Warriors star man Stephen Curry was injured during the 4th quarter due to an ankle sprain. Regarding this, Clippers star James Harden shared his views on the NBA legend.
Harden and Curry have been battling it out with each other since their early days in the NBA. Both entered the league in the 2009 NBA Draft. Since then, they have been having a go at each other. In addition, Harden opened up on their battles and termed Curry and the Warriors as a ‘real dynasty’ after the Warriros-Clippers game.

“It happened fast. Just the prime of that Rockets situation going up against that dynasty was just like real… I had to really go up against a real dynasty. It’s special. I’m overly excited and proud of… pic.twitter.com/Rkn6g9jXnU
Furthermore, along with Curry and Harden, the 2009 NBA Draft had plenty of future stars. Blake Griffin, a former Clippers star who went first overall and recently announced his retirement, was one of the amazing players from the 2009 draft class.
Two more members of that class who are still playing well in the league are DeMar DeRozan and Jrue Holiday. Curry has won the NBA title four times, whereas Holiday has won it twice. Despite his accolades, Harden does not have the NBA title on his resume.
James Harden ranks NBA’s All-Time 3-point list and hails Stephen Curry in the process
James Harden is one of the most exciting players to watch on the court when fit and healthy. He is also one of the best 3-point shooters alongside NBA legend Stephen Curry. Regarding this, Harden recently ranked his NBA All-Time 3-point list. However, he omitted Curry from the list because, as per Harden ‘Curry cannot be compared to anyone.’

NBA great Ray Allen has 2,973 three-pointers. Now, the Los Angeles Clippers star needs just 31 more to tie him for the second-most in NBA history. However, given that he led the league in three-pointers last season with 357, Curry has 3,747 career three-pointers and doesn’t appear to be slowing down at all. This showcases the immense shooting ability Curry possesses in the sport.
