Liverpool is looking for a long term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who remains the club’s fourth-highest goalscorer of all time with 232 goals. Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has emerged as the number one option. The Georgian might fit in well under manager Arne Slot. Apart from the 23-year-old winger, PSV Eindhoven talent Johan Bakayoko’s situation is also being monitored.

It would be tough for any player to recreate Mohamed Salah’s impact at the club. The ex-Chelsea man had led the club to a UCL and an EPL triumph. Additionally, West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and Bayern star Leroy Sane have also been shortlisted. It remains to be seen what happens at the end of the season.
