Football pundit Jamie O’Hara bizarrely claimed that Bukayo Saka is not on the same level as Chelsea star Cole Palmer and Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal. Moreover, he heaped praise on Palmer, calling him the ‘best player in the world’ right now.

Three of the players have been at their best this season, leading the attack for their respective clubs. Bukayo Saka, who was handed the captain’s armband most recently, has been in prolific form, scoring two goals and providing six assists in nine matches.

Saka equaled Theirry Henry’s record of five consecutive matches with an assist in the EPL. On the other hand, Cole Palmer has been in great form this season and is just behind Erling Haaland in the EPL top-scorers list with six goals. Despite the three youngsters being in great form, former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara singled out Palmer and Lamine Yamal as the better players.

He surprisingly stated that 23-year-old Saka is not a ‘world-class’ player, but Lamine and Palmer are a level above the Arsenal star. He highlighted Yamal’s role at Barcelona as well as his intent in winning trophies and also regarded Palmer as the best player in the EPL right now, shocking Gunners fans on social media.

Bukayo Saka isn’t world class. He’s a great player in a very good team, but I look at guys like Cole Palmer and Lamine Yamal, who in my opinion are world-class players. They’re a level above Saka.

The football pundit’s view seems to fall flat, with Saka having recently starred for Arsenal with a goal against PSG during a 2-0 win in a crucial UCL encounter. Meanwhile, the Premier League duo are expected to link up for England next month.
