WWE’s long list of civil lawsuits doesn’t end with the McMahons. In fact, earlier today, the company’s production head, Lee Fitting, was slapped with allegations of sex*al misconduct in a story published by The Athletic. As claimed by some women within ESPN, Lee’s former workplace, he made objectifying, crude, and sexi*t remarks.

An HR investigation probed into those complaints and found Lee guilty to the extent that he was let go by ESPN in August 2023. Earlier this year, he was offered a role by WWE and has since garnered acclaim for revamping WWE’s production value. However, Janel Grant, who previously sued Vince McMahon and his co-execs for s*x trafficking and physical abuse, has raised red flags on similar findings about Lee Fitting.

Kendra Barkoff-Lamy, a spokesperson for Grant, criticized WWE’s rhetoric on improving the company’s culture. She argued how they can promise such things after employing someone who was fired by ESPN on grounds of workplace harassment. It should also be noted that Grant’s suit on Vince will resume after a six-month stay that expired last week.

Back to Lee, the allegations levied upon him have come at a time when WWE is ushering in its most pivotal stretch of programming. Fitting, who was touted as ESPN’s golden boy, took College GameDay to unprecedented heights. And now, his footprints have taken WWE’s production up a notch.

At this point, the company hasn’t issued a comment on what he’s been accused of. But it doesn’t mean the matter will be swept under the rug. Ever since merging with TKO, they’ve taken these cases of misconduct very seriously. What better than Brock Lesnar’s example to corroborate that claim?

Vince McMahon’s s*x trafficking lawsuit aftermath has been tumultuous

A number of names in the pro wrestling industry have spoken in reference to Vince McMahon‘s wrongdoings. The latest inclusion in that list is Kurt Angle. He recently spoke to Inside the Ropes and quipped that the former WWE Chairman would be placed in hell after his demise.

McMahon’s name hasn’t been mentioned at all on WWE television over the past year or so. In September, Netflix released a documentary chronicling Vince’s rise and fall. The doc included the hush money allegations that resulted in a hefty payout to several women whom McMahon had molested over the years.

The showmakers claimed that the 79-year-old canceled his final interview after new allegations came to light. He even tried to buy the project back from Netflix in an attempt to destroy it after going through its initial episodes.
