My goal for this Olympics is to ask Rafa for a selfie (laughs). I have one with Roger (Federer) and one with Novak (Djokovic) from the previous Olympics, so my goal is to ask for one with Rafa. I ran into him yesterday (Thursday) but I didn’t have the courage to ask him. I’m a little embarrassed, but I’m going to try to do it. If you see one on Instagram, it’s because I did it.

Nadal is partnering Carlos Alcaraz in doubles and the two were spotted practicing together today despite Nadal’s injury concerns. After the session, in an interview with ‘CLAY’ magazine, Alcaraz confirmed that he feels Nadal is still at his best and is sure to compete alongside him in doubles.

The guy is fine, he’s at his best. He’s always fine, like always!
Carlos Alcaraz said

His participation in singles is still unconfirmed and may be doubtful as he was seen with a bandage wrap around his thigh during doubles practice sessions today.
