A major turn of events at the French Open as in-form Elena Rybakina got upset by Jasmine Paolini. The 28-year-old Italian has been having a memorable year so far in both doubles and singles.

Paolini had already changed the majority of the world’s predictions after her first-set win against Rybakina. However, the World No.4 bounced right back into the game, putting all kinds of pressure on the 28-year-old. That pressure was not enough to stop Paolini, who perfectly broke Rybakina in the decider set and stole the match 6-2, 4-6, 6-4.
