Regardless of how impressive the Washington Commanders rookie QB may be, the future Hall of Famer Jason Kelce is convinced he stands little chance of defeating the Philadelphia Eagles. Interestingly, the odds favor Kelce, as his former team are six-point favorite to defeat their divisional rivals.
The legendary center may no longer be with the Eagles on the field, but he is fully confident in their ability to succeed this season and clinch a Super Bowl victory. However, they face a big challenge ahead in the NFC Championship game against Jayden Daniels-led Commander, who is coming off making back-to-back history in both the playoff wins and is standing on the brink of making another.
Despite Daniels being considered to be the best rookie quarterback in NFL history, Kelce is in no doubt about the chances of Jalen Hurts-led Philly destroying the Commanders in the conference championship game, highlighting their significant talent edge over their opponent.

While giving the Commanders head coach Dan Quinn and quarterback Daniels their due credit– which has also been stated by other analysts in their appreciation for the rookie for carrying the entire team on his shoulders, Kelce emphasized the loaded talent that the Eagles carry in both sides of the ball.
Jason Kelce sets the record straight on comments about rookie Jayden Daniels
Unfortunately for the ESPN analyst, his words were interpreted wrongly by many fans on social media, believing Kelce was undermining Daniels, who is just a victory away from becoming the first rookie quarterback to reach the Super Bowl. To clarify, Kelce shared an explanatory post on X by retweeting the clip of his interview with WIP-FM.
Just to clarify, I wasn’t really talking about the QBs with this quote, I had already brought them up in the convo. I was talking about all the other positions, I could have been clearer with that. I think both QBs are incredible, Jayden is having an insane rookie season.… https://t.co/nsJTR5fXAG

Whether or not Daniels is capable of taking down Philly remains to be seen, but Kelce was right about one thing that the highly anticipated upcoming matchup is going to be incredibly thrilling. And all attention is focused on the rookie, who seems to be the talk of the town lately.
