Jason Kelce may be the older sibling, but he wasn’t particularly fond of facing his brother Travis Kelce during his Philadelphia Eagles days. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end more often than not had the upper hand when they squared off in the NFL.
While Travis enjoyed the Chiefs’ recent victory over the Carolina Panthers, Jason was busy with work in Los Angeles. The 36-year-old was at SoFi Stadium for the Harbaugh Bowl.
Kelce was part of the Monday Night Countdown contingent, and when he revealed feeling irritated about playing his younger brother and the Chiefs.
"It's annoying. … They were very good."

In a New Heights podcast episode from 2023, Jason claimed their bout on the football field was ‘fun as hell.’
Each occasion Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce faced off against each other in the NFL
The famous brothers first went head-to-head back in 2013, but Travis was sidelined through injury, so he didn’t play. It will take nearly four years for them to face each other.
In September 2017, the Chiefs and the Eagles played out a thrilling 27-20 game in which Travis Kelce scored a touchdown for the win.
Their next meeting took place in October 2021. It was Jason Kelce’s 109th consecutive start in the NFL, but the Eagles lost due to a remarkable performance from Patrick Mahomes, who threw for 278 yards and 5 touchdowns to secure a 42-30 victory for the Chiefs.
Jason finally had something to celebrate with his brother when they met in 2023. The game ended 21-17 for the Eagles, with Travis contributing one touchdown. The pair also played in Super Bowl LVII which the Chiefs won 38-35.
The 6x All-Pro center retired shortly after the 2023 season ended. He won a Super Bowl in 2017 with 7x Pro Bowl honors. Jason will surely go down as one of the greatest Eagles of all time and etch his name in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
For now, he’s waiting for the birth of his fourth daughter and focusing on his ESPN analyst job alongside hosting America’s one of the most popular podcast with Travis.
