Looks like the girlfriend effect is real and Travis Kelce’s loved ones can clearly see it. But seeing the tight end’s recent attire roaming in NYC, his brother Jason Kelce couldn’t hold himself back from reacting.
In the latest edition of the New Heights podcast, the Kelce brother dived into Travis’ recent dinner dates in New York City with his ladylove, Taylor Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs bye week. Influenced by the style of his superstar girlfriend, Travis’ entire wardrobe seems to have changed. But it would be interesting to find out whether his outfit choice on their double date with her best friends was Swift’s idea.
The reason is the creative yet inappropriate illustrations imprinted on the navy Jacquemus bowling button-down shirt worth $495. It featured a gigantic horse standing on its hind legs, surrounded by several faceless individuals, some of whom closely resembled intimate positions– highlighted by Jason.

Interestingly, Jason wasn’t the only one to question the unconventional shirt as it also caught fans’ attention. British GQ even did a breakout story on the three-time Super Bowl champion’s outfit, suggesting it’s a personalized shirt inspired by different albums of the 14-time Grammy winner.

The Hall of Fame-worthy center questioned his brother’s choice of such an outfit, especially on a double date with two Hollywood stars and Swift’s best friends: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The Chiefs tight end revealed that he didn’t realise the unorthodox illustrations of his shirt and he thought they were just an art at first glance.
“What in the world was the shirt though?” questioned Jason to his brother, Travis on Wednesday’s episode of New Heights. Mocking the nine-time Pro Bowler, Jason said the shirt resembled “a horse c**k,” to which Travis immediately responded with an ick saying why would he wear such a thing.
The former NFL center then referenced the GQ’s article which described the shirts as “flowy, fun, and more vibrant Marseilles than minimalist Paris,” calling it a fancier way of saying, “It’s a button down with horses and people f***ing on it.”
Surprised by his brother’s take on his outfit, Travis called it a mere assumption and his shirt did not illustrate intimate positions. The tight end is expected to get back to training in some time for week 8’s match against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
