Former Philadelphia Eagles center and Super Bowl champion Jason Kelce seemingly got some shut-eye during a Taylor Swift concert. The Internet had some say over the former footballer’s reaction, debating the situation.

Kelce was accompanied by his wife Kylie, their two children, and his mother, Donna Kelce. Also spotted in the crowd was his former Eagles teammate, Beau Allen. Travis Kelce, who’s dating Swift since last fall, was absent due to his commitments with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are headed to Santa Clara to play the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday.

The social media furor started with Beau Allen’s latest X (formerly known as Twitter) post. Allen had clicked an image of Jason, seemingly closing his eyes while plumping on the seat. He later captioned it with a reference to the Taylor Swift song Anti Hero, “Sometimes I feel like everyone is a sexy baby and I’m a monster on a hill.”

Jason Kelce has a habit of dozing off at times like this. He drunkenly closed his eyes amid his first date with his now-wife Kylie. It was Allen who had to carry him out then as well.

In February earlier this year, Allen revealed that it was physically the hardest thing he ever had to do. He also admitted that he was surprised Kylie agreed to a second date.

The person Jason has made mad won’t be his wife this time around. It could be his eldest daughter Elliotte or Ellie, who’s a huge fan of Swift.

During an episode in the Pivot podcast, Jason shared that he’s been listening to a lot of ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart’, courtesy of Elliotte. Swift, who’s embroiled in marriage rumors with Jason’s younger brother, is a cherished person in the Kelce household and the Chiefs family as well. Patrick Mahomes‘ daughters lovingly call Swift ‘Auntie Tay Tay.’

The official X handle of their podcast “New Heights” also joined in on the fun. Fans’ comments varied from curiosity to know the song to Kelce boys’ ability to sleep anywhere.

Some people attributed Jason’s behavior to his kids finding cats. Kelce is known to be not fond of the feline animals. In September, he even revealed that he lied to his kids that cats are poisonous.

Certain comments also referenced the first date incident as well, considering it was Beau Allen once again, with Kelce getting a shut-eye.
