Last year after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, Travis Kelce almost tried to talk through the President’s dais at the White House. Only to be stopped by his superstar teammate Patrick Mahomes. This time, however, President Joe Biden called the tight end onto the dais, leading his brother Jason Kelce to react.

The former All-Pro center tweeted this while watching the televised celebrations.

Man, Im not gonna lie, that was tight. Well done Travis Kelce, doesn’t get much cooler than that!

Everyone, including Jason Kelce, did not expect the President to do such a thing. Normally, only top-ranked foreign dignitaries and other key officeholders in the government get to stand at the podium beside the President of the United States.

President Joe Biden, while talking about the Kansas City Chiefs, called upon Travis Kelce to make a speech after being unable to do so last time. But the tight end just said one line and then went back suggesting that he would get tased if he was at the podium. The President was a major sport as he also put on a Chiefs helmet.

A celebratory moment for the Kelce brothers. After all, how often does one get the chance to stand beside the President at his dais. Jason Kelce naturally has always supported his younger brother in everything. Just like he did during the Super Bowl, despite not being able to make it with his Philadelphia Eagles.

Travis Kelce wants to win more Super Bowls before he retires

Travis Kelce knows the position he is in. He and his Kansas City Chiefs have just won back-to-back Super Bowls for the first time in exactly two decades. More importantly, last season they were not as good as their Super Bowl win suggests. As in, team-wise they had deficiencies that their opponents could not exploit.

This season, however, the Chiefs have turned a corner. Not only did they sign key personnel in free agency, but they also went out and drafted crucial players who will help the team take care of those deficiencies. They also extended Kelce and their superstar defensive tackle Chris Jones so that the core stays the same. This led Kelce to suggest that he wants to win a few more Super Bowls.

All in a quest to initially become the first team in NFL history to do a three-peat of Super Bowl wins. The second is to ensure that Travis Kelce can possibly win a few more before he hangs up his cleats. Which means a few more visits to the White House.
