Ever since Kylie Kelce stepped into the public eye, she has always presented herself with a fierce demeanor. However, beneath her strong exterior lies a history of profound emotional trauma she endured as a teenager in high school.

In the latest edition of her famous “Not Gonna Lie” podcast– which surpassed The Joe Rogan Experience within a month, Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie opened up about some dark days of her teenage years. Featuring influencer Drew Afualo, the episode delved into the personal struggles of the two women, regarding their insecurities with being taller than average woman.

Coming from a family, where her father stands at 6’9”, Kylie always felt fit in and “normal-sized,” but when she began high school, a gambit of insecurities swiped as she was heavily targeted by fellow students, particularly by boys, who bullied her relentlessly.

I’m pretty sure I was already 5’10” as a freshman, and let me tell you, the boys were not. I got ruthlessly bullied by a couple of people. … One of the worst of them was a guy, whose insult was always like, ‘You’re huge, you’re a man.’ It took me until probably my senior year to be like, ‘Aw, you’re mad that you’re not my size.’

While Kylie felt out of place among her classmates– where she had to defend the notion of being tall not big, she found comfort being in the presence of her husband.

Kylie Kelce embraces criticism as her podcast takes the top spot

Kylie’s prominence shocked many fans on social media, especially after she took down the most popular The Joe Rogan Experience with global presence. Though she is still new to the field, the Mama-to-be has been quite in the news. On her podcast, she shared that “one of the most common questions recently associated with ‘Not Gonna Lie’ has been, ‘Who the f*** is Kylie Kelce?’”

Rather than taking offense, Kylie found it amusing and also foolish of those not to have any knowledge about the algorithms of the internet. She emphasized that after searching for her and her podcast, those internet users would be given more such related content.

Additionally, she even suggested her producers create an episode on algorithms to explain to them how exactly it works. Regardless, as they say, ‘no publicity is bad’, the critiques are at least also searching for her and ‘Not Gonna Lie’ and thus increasing the engagement.
