Hardik Pandya faced a tough time during the IPL 2024, with boos, abuses and jeers wherever he went. Jasprit Bumrah has finally talked about the situation and how the Mumbai Indians players helped Pandya at that point.
Bumrah said that sometimes things go bad and people have no option other than accepting it. He added that all the MI players were right behind Pandya and did not like the treatment that fans were giving him during IPL 2024.

Pandya, despite getting insulted, kept himself cool and played the whole tournament with a ‘smile’ on his face. Bumrah discussed how emotions play a big role in cricket, both for fans and players. He acknowledged that as an Indian player, it can be tough when fans are critical of the players, especially when the player is trying to give his best.
Despite the challenges, Bumrah emphasized that players need to accept criticism as part of the game. He noted that it’s impossible to control what people say or think, so players have to deal with it and focus on their performance.
Hardik Pandya made great comeback in T20 World Cup 2024
The fans did not like the fact that Mumbai Indians appointed Pandya as their captain and replaced Rohit Sharma without any discussion. Hence, they started to abuse Pandya in every Mumbai Indians game.
There were even talks that Pandya should not be included in the squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. However, Pandya proved all his critics wrong as he played an integral part in India winning the T20 World Cup.
Pandya delivered with both the bat and ball. He played a crucial part in the final as well when he picked up the wicket of the dangerous Heinrich Klaasen and brought India back to the game. He also bowled the all-important final over and defend the runs for India.
After the end of the World Cup, Pandya announced his divorce with his ex-wife Natasa Stankovic. This was also one of the reasons why Pandya was slammed by fans when there were rumors about their divorce.
