Fans dig up Jasprit Bumrah’s old tweet on firecrackers after pictures from his wedding reception go viral

Jasprit Bumrah got married to TV anchor Sanjana Ganesan on the 15th of March in Goa in what was a private ceremony. The pandemic situation was the reason for things being kept lowkey. For the purpose of his marriage, India’s ace pacer Bumrah had asked for special permission from the management to exempt him from the final test against England as well as the T20I and ODI series.

Meanwhile, there were reports that were surfacing about Bumrah and Sanjana’s impending marriage. However, there was no official confirmation till the couple themselves posted pictures from their wedding and confirmed the news. They wrote, ““Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.”

After the marriage, pictures from the Sangeet Ceremony as well as the wedding reception were posted by the couple as well as the attendees. Now, one such image has caught the attention of fans on Twitter. The said picture features the couple walking amidst a plethora of sparklers and firecrackers. Twitterati has now dug up an old tweet by Bumrah where he had asked people to avoid firecrackers during Diwali. The pacer is now being called out by the said fans.
