Indian ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah is all set to get married this month and according to reports from Zee News, the bride will be sports anchor and model Sanjana Ganesan. Bumrah is currently not with the Indian team due to his impending marriage. He had asked for special permission citing ‘personal reasons’ to leave the Indian squad before the recently concluded fourth test that India won.
He was also not selected in the squads for the five-match T20I series that is set to begin on the 12th of March in Ahmedabad. While initially, the exclusion was thought to be due to fitness concerns and in order to give him a rest, various reports confirmed that Bumrah was set to get married before the Indian Premier League (IPL) season began.
Marriage to take place on March 14 and 15
According to the reports, the marriage is set to take place with only close friends being invited due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The supposed bride Sanjana Ganesan is a sports anchor who has been seen in the past on the Star Sports Network. She is from Pune and was educated and graduated there as a computer science major. She is also a successful model who was one of the finalists in Ms. India 2014.
Sanjana is a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise as their sports anchor as well. According to the reports, Bumrah and Sanjana had met during the IPL and became close friends. Further details on how their marriage was fixed hasn’t been revealed.
