“The person who steals my heart everyday” – Jasprit Bumrah wishes wife Sanjana Ganesan on her birthday

Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan

Indian fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah sent a heartfelt wish to wife Sanjana Ganesan on the occasion of her birthday. The cricketer got married to Sanjana on the 15th of March in Goa. The marriage took place in a private ceremony where there were very few guests invited due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the marriage, Bumrah had also asked for special permission from the BCCI to be exempt from a few matches against England.

The news of the wedding was reported by a plethora of news agencies but only after the marriage did Bumrah and Sanjana make an announcement. They wrote, ““Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.”

Jasprit Bumrah’s heartfelt wish for Sanjana Ganesan

Jasprit Bumrah took to Twitter today to wish Sanjana Ganesan on her birthday. He posted an image of the two and captioned it, “Happy birthday to the person who steals my heart everyday. You’re my person, I love you.” along with a ‘Love’ emoji. The picture and the wish has now gone viral on social media with fans and cricketers reacting to it.

In particular, a hilarious reply from Bumrah’s Mumbai Indians (MI) teammate Jimmy Neesham has gone viral wherein he commented on Instagram, “Thought you were talking about Trent Boult for a minute.” It is noteworthy that Boult and Bumrah are fast-bowling partners in the MI line-up.

With the IPL 2021 now suspended, Bumrah’s campaign has been cut short and they will be out of cricketing action for a while. His focus will now be on the World Test Championship (WTC) final in Southampton scheduled for June 18 to 22.
