Jaylen Brown played a big part in his team winning the championship this season. Further, he also won the NBA Finals MVP for his dominant performance. Recently he was seen courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics Summer league game. The game had Bronny James in the lineup.
Fans could see Bronny James struggle on the offence. He even shot an air ball from the 3-point line. During the game, it was seen that Jaylen Brown had made a comment to his girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick. Apparently Brown had stated that Bronny is not a pro at basketball.
After the video went viral all over social media, Brown had to open up about it. Brown talked in the defense of the younger James. He even stated in his tweet that it’s a flex to have your son in the league. He even talked about the greatness and longevity of LeBron James in the league.
Bronny James managed to score only 2 points, along with 3 rebounds and 1 assist. He had a bad shooting night and went from 1-5 from the field and 0-3 from 3 point. Despite poor offensive performance, Bronny showed promising signs in defense.
Jaylen Brown seemingly angry after getting snubbed from Team USA
Jaylen Brown had an impressive run with the Boston Celtics and even helped them win a championship. But he was not chosen for the stacked Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Brown was reportedly angry about not getting selected for the Team USA and went on to post some cryptic tweets.
Instead of Brown, his Celtics teammate Derrick White was chosen as the replacement for Kawhi Leonard. However, White also had a great season with the Celtics. He averaged 15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists in the last season. White’s main strengths have been defense and even earned the honors of All-Defensive NBA second team.
However, still, many people have stated that Brown was snubbed twice and deserves to be a part of the stacked Team USA. Hopefully one day Brown’s dream of representing his country will be fulfilled.
