Over the past couple of years, Jaylen Brown has seen significant interest gather around his personal life as he navigates his legacy as one of the better players in the NBA.

When he excelled on his work front in the 2024 NBA championship with a Finals MVP to his name, he had Kysre Gondrezick alongside him on the parade duck boats.

He proudly introduced the WNBA star as his ‘woman’ when he appeared with the Larry O’Brien trophy at the ESPYS that year. Brown showered her with expensive gifts and took holidays to far-off places.

She was with him for much of the year, but then, fans began to notice that Gondrezick was not appearing courtside for Celtics games in the initial part of the 2024-25 season.

The guard later confirmed that she was no longer in a relationship, as Jaylen Brown focused on his trips promoting his 741 Performance sneaker line.

Recently, the Celtics star was seen in a video performing a salsa dance routine with singer Victoria Monet. This video instantly went viral, with the real question on everyone’s minds being whether the 6′ 6″ guard was dating the R&B artist.

By the time basketball fans could think of any theories, it was time for Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics to play the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome.

It so happens that Victoria Monet was in Los Angeles and was courtside to watch Jaylen Brown play. Pictures of her watching the game intently are doing the rounds on social media.

However, she did not meet the California Golden Bears alum during or after the game. She could have just been his guest. After all, they did spend time practicing salsa moves the night before.

It started to appear as if the 36-year-old, who separated from her partner John Gaines in 2023, was there to support the new man in her life.

There are enough instances in the NBA to prove that the presence of good-looking women tends to bring out the best in athletes. Many have gone on to produce exceptional and uncharacteristic performances when a ‘courtside baddie’ even looks at them.

Jaylen Brown is one of the most professional basketball players in the league, and has given enough proof that he has various interests outside the sport.

But when the NBA champion ended up matching his career high of 50 points in the presence of Victoria Monet, those supposed dating rumors received a jolt.

Brown has been averaging the most points of his career as the Celtics’ primary scorer in Jayson Tatum‘s absence. However, the very fact that there has been an uptick in scoring is itself additional proof that the presence of someone close may have pushed him to play better.

After the game, the basketball world was still trying to figure out if Jaylen Brown was indeed dating Victoria Monet. The salsa dance session, the courtside appearance, and possibly fueling his 50-point performance were all indicative.

He essentially gave those dating rumors a spark, but then his second sentence seemingly threw those narratives into the wind, leaving it up for the world to figure it out.

Therefore, there is no official confirmation that the two are indeed dating. However, if they continue to spend time with each other, those rumors will soon turn into confirmation that maybe Brown is following his teammate, Tatum’s lead in dating musicians.
