Notably, Celtics star man Jaylen Brown provided the fans with some much-needed insight regarding their training camp going into the 2024-25 NBA season.
Their head coach, Joe Mazzulla, is increasing the intensity in training camp. Brown came into camp in the finest condition of his career, but he recently admitted that the first couple of days have been very difficult. He commented on Friday at the Auerbach Center about Mazzulla’s focus throughout the first couple of workouts.

Additionally, Mazzulla has been portrayed by others before, not just by Brown. Not long after the five-time All-Star guard signed the highest-paying contract deal in NBA history, the youthful coach was creating new ideas for Jayson Tatum of the Celtics.
This showcases the efforts Mazzulla has been putting into his roster. Not only that, Mazzulla was also the youngest coach (35) to win the NBA title alongside the legendary Bill Russell. Brown claims that being in water strengthens him and makes him more equipped to handle whatever obstacles come his way. He goes on to compare it to feeling at ease in the face of difficulties.
