The Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown received a pat on his back after winning his first Eastern Conference Finals MVP. The star’s talent and achievement was acknowledged by NBA superstar LeBron James after the Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers on Monday. Brown was a huge part of the team’s series win as they advanced to the NBA finals.
After the Celtics were on the verge of losing the first matchup, Jaylen Brown made an unreal three-pointer. The shot sent the game to overtime and an eventual win for the Celtics.
In the next game also, Brown matched his playoff career high of 40 points in the Celtics victory. LeBron James was watching all of this as he congratulated Brown on the MVP win through X.

Getting respect from a veteran such as James is an achievement of its own considering the star’s resume. The 39-year-old was at the peak of his career while being in the Eastern Conference. James dominated the league and bagged numerous awards apart from the Conference MVP, while playing for the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Brown’s performance in the series was commendable as the player averaged an unreal 29.8 points, five rebounds, and three assists. The athlete achieved this stat by shooting more than 50% from the field while also contributing defensively. Brown’s versatile talent would play a key role during the championship finals.

While Brown won the prestigious Larry Bird trophy, another Celtics legend came to show support for his beloved team. Before the current lot brought the Celtics back in the finals, Paul Pierce was the reason behind the team’s success in the 2000s.
