Since then, they have won back-to-back games against the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors. The win against the Raptors was their most recent one coming on Saturday, November 16th. The Celtics star man Jayson Tatum stole the show with his heroics.

The game proved to be a hard-fought victory for the Celtics as it went into overtime. Interestingly, Tatum made the game-winning basket in the last play of the game. His buzzer-beater sent the NBA fans into a frenzy. It’s important to note that, Tatum missed a game-winning shot in normal time but made amends for it in the overtime period.

Apart from Tatum who scored 24 points and had 9 rebounds, other Celtic stars also had a good game. Al Horford scored a season-high 18 points. Celtics’ defender Derrick White also scored eighteen points in a thrilling matchup vs the Raptors.

As for the Raptors, they dropped to 0-8 on the road this season despite a career-high 35 points from Jakob Poeltl. Poeltl had 12 rebounds and was 16 of 19 from the field. In addition, RJ Barrett contributed 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists, but failed to earn a win in this game against the Celtics. Up next for the Raptors are the Indiana Pacers on home court.

Tatum seemed to be struggling at the start of the game but soon found his rhythm alongside teammate Jaylen Brown. His game-winning shot garnered a lot of praise from the crowd at the TD Garden as well as NBA fans around the world.
