Due to tendinopathy in his left knee, Jrue Holiday was unable to play for the Celtics. Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla stated before the game that he didn’t anticipate Holiday’s injury to last. Holiday missed the game for the first time this season. The Celtics are now (11-3) in the league and sit in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference.
