Jayson Tatum might have lost his personal duel with Stephen Curry today but he ensured that Boston Celtics inched past the Golden State Warriors by a whisker. Jayson Tatum scored 44 points including a clutch 3-pointer to set the game to bed, ending Warriors 4-match win streak. Kemba Walker had 26 for the Boston Celtics.

Talking about Stephen Curry, he struck eleven 3-pointers in this game and scored game high 47 points. Curry knocked a total of 44 3s in 5-games span which is the most by any player in NBA History. Andre Wiggins scored 22 points for the Dubs who led by as many as 16 points in the 2nd quarter.

Back-to-back 3-pointers from Draymond Green and Stephen Curry gave the Golden State Warriors a 109-103 lead in the final minutes before Kemba Walker hit a pair of free throws and Jayson Tatum hit a 3-pointer to make it a one-point game. After a few unsuccessful trips up the court, the Boston Celtics worked the ball around to an open Marcus Smart beyond the 3-point line.

He stood there, with no one coming out to cover him, before sinking the shot to give Boston a 111-109 lead. Kevon Looney made a putback to tie it before Jayson Tatum drove to give the Celtics the lead for good with 48 seconds left.

Stephen Curry made a corner 3 to make it 116-114 before Tatum sank two free throws with 14 seconds left to clinch it. Curry put a scare into even the opposing crowd when he buckled to the court with 7 minutes left in the game, apparently with a turned ankle.
