Compared to some of their rivals, the Yankees have had a slow start to the current offseason. Apart from getting back Trent Grisham through the $22 million qualifying offer, the team have just re-signed some of their former players on short-term deals.

One name the team is heavily linked with is Cody Bellinger. Despite having strong interest in him, the Yankees have been unable to progress in the negotiations with him.

In the midst of this, Chisholm Jr. has drawn some interest from teams regarding a trade. As per insider Bryan Hoch, the team is “open-minded” to listen to trade proposals regarding the infielder.

Chisholm Jr. had a .242/.332/.481 slash line in his first full season with the Yankees and registered career highs in home runs (31), runs scored (75), RBIs (80) and walks (58). He will enter the final year of his arbitration eligibility next year and could become a free agent after the 2026 season.
