Jazz Chisholm Jr. started off with the New York Yankees with a blast at the Bronx, as he got their iconic roll call during the game against Toronto Blue Jays. Within just days of his debut with the team, the outfielder became the first Yankees to score 4 home runs in three days of debut.
Fans love every bit of him in the team, as his addition has undoubtedly increased the team’s offensive power. The whole stadium during the game could be heard screaming his name as Chisholm did a step-back jump shot to honor his idol, Kobe Bryant.

Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s former manager Don Mattingly comments on his trade to Yankees
Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s former Marlins manager Don Mattingly said that he thought the NY Yankees were the perfect fit for the 26-year-old when he heard of the trade. Talking about his past experiences and rumors about his personality, he sidetracked the question saying, “I don’t know. It’s in the past. He was young.”
He said he loves how Chisholm Jr. is always full of confidence and “fearless”. The player not having any fear for whoever he’s facing has made him the person he is today, according to Mattingly.

Don Mattingly further believes that Chisholm is yet to play in his 100% form as he’s new to NY. “He’s still probably just scratching the surface of what he can do,” he added.
