This week’s Raw will feature the return of WWE legend JBL, who last appeared in February 2023. Having been away from television for quite some time, the former WWE Champion is now set to make his comeback. With his return announced, the WWE Hall of Famer appears excited to see what this new chapter holds for him.

Speaking on Something to Wrestle, JBL revealed that he currently has no idea what the creative team has planned for him upon his return to Raw. However, he expressed interest in working alongside commentator Michael Cole. He also shared his excitement about reconnecting with old friends and meeting new faces who have joined during his absence.

I kind of got an idea a little bit from Creative, and it sounds all fun. I’m excited to go back. When you’re gone for a while, you just kind of enjoy being back in the arena.

It will be interesting to see what role the Hall of Famer will take on Monday. During his last appearance, he served as Baron Corbin‘s mentor until February 2023. However, when WWE decided to end that storyline, JBL was also sidelined from the company.

JBL expressed his desire to work with Jacob Fatu

JBL is regarded as one of the most charismatic WWE superstars of all time, with his antics playing a key role in the rise of stars like John Cena and Rey Mysterio. Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked about his thoughts on the current generation of WWE talent. Interestingly, the former WWE Champion identified Jacob Fatu as a potential breakout star of the future.
