This week’s Raw saw the cracks between Judgment Day. What felt like another segment shortly became the showing of some heat between the members. After Rhea Ripley stepped away due to injury, Damian Priest was on his way to establish leadership in the faction. It led to a major angle of animosity between him and JD McDonagh. The Irish-born wrestler further shared his reaction to the matter with a message on X.

McDonagh expressed his frustration with the faction. It was a clear reference to the mockery by the World Heavyweight Champion. He stated that he had done everything he could for Judgment Day. However, in return, they have done nothing for him. It was a quick tease about possibly leaving the group, as JD McDonagh has never been cranked up like that.

I'm sore. I'm tired. I'm pissed off. And I think I've helped Judgment Day more than Judgment Day has helped me.

Besides, Dominik Mysterio is also out due to an injury. This means he is no longer able to compete alongside JD McDonagh. With the group having two members out due to injury and McDonagh teasing his exit, all eyes are on Finn Balor. For now, it seems like Damian Priest is on his own. Therefore, it led to him asking for no favors from the faction also.

Therefore, it seems like WWE is going forward with a break-up angle with the group. If McDonagh is out of the picture, which is likely to happen, it will leave a void in the group.

JD McDonagh might move to SmackDown in WWE Draft’24

WWE is all set to have the Draft 2024 start this week. With so many intertwined storylines looming, it seems like Judgment Day might get split in this year’s draft. JD McDonagh has teased leaving Judgment Day. Therefore, there is a possibility of him moving on to SmackDown to have a singles run.

As things are currently in WWE, McDonagh has had enough of Judgment Day, it seems. Therefore, if the promotion moves him to the Blue Brand, it might revitalize his career. Besides, the former cruiserweight champion has immense potential as a superstar.

Furthermore, McDonagh has always been treated as an outcast in the group by Damian Priest. It seems JD is done with all the poking. It will be interesting to see the further dynamics of the faction.
