The New York Jets brought in four-time Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers in 2023 to end their Super Bowl drought. As the 2024-25 regular season heads into Week 11, the Jets are far from ending their 13-year playoff drought.
Aaron Rodgers and his green and white gang are 3-7 to the season awaiting the Indianapolis Colts to salvage their mathematically salvageable season. The quarterback, who has one ring to his name, is turning 41 later this year as his stardom years are in the ending phase. The numbers produced by the Jets QB are far from expected but not bad, however, the record of 3-7, is a mark on the QB’s 17-year career as a starter. Rodgers has a winning record in all but two seasons and 2024 could be his third exception.
Albeit the losing record, Jeff Ulbrich, the interim head coach has backed Rodgers to stay and don the green and whites next year as well. The head coach himself is under fire as the Jets have only won once with Ulbrich calling plays.
Jeff Ulbrich says the Jets would "love" to have Aaron Rodgers back at QB next season:

Despite undergoing intensive rehab last year and having the summer to recover, the quarterback suffered early-season injuries and has been dealing with persistent lower-body issues that first appeared during minicamp.
In 2024, he recorded 2,258 passing yards on 351 attempts, averaging 6.4 yards per attempt, with a 62.4% completion rate, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Aaron Rodgers still firmly wants to play further while praising head coach Jeff Ulbrich
Aaron Rodgers admitted he would love to play better than he is currently playing earlier this week. Furthermore, he also acknowledged that he hasn’t met his expectations as a player. Nevertheless, Rodgers expressed that he is not taking this year’s poor performances as a metric to decide his future.
Rodgers also expressed strong support for Jeff Ulbrich, commending the changes that Ulbrich has brought about in the team.
Aaron Rodgers and the Jets play the Colts in a do-or-die match. As per the Athletic NFL Playoff Predictor, The Jets have a playoff chance of 8% heading into Week 11 with a projected record of 6-11.
