“Imma get my brother’s revenge” Jermall Charlo announces and confirms fight against Canelo Alvarez
After Jermell Charlo lost against Canelo Alvarez, his twin brother Jermall Charlo is now set to fight the Mexican boxer next.

Canelo Alvarez already seems to have an opponent lined up for his next fight, but it is sadly not David Benavidez. As such, the Mexican superstar is now set to fight against Jermall Charlo in September. The announcement was made by Charlo himself during an Instagram live. This will be the second time that Alvarez enters the ring against a Charlo brother after he defeated Jermell Charlo on September 30, 2023.
Currently, Saul is set to fight the young Mexican boxing star, Jaime Munguia on May 4. The fight is expected to be great and is even being held on the Mexican festival Cinco de Mayo. Furthermore, Munguia is the underdog since the undisputed middle champion is expected to win.

Charlo seems to be quite excited about avenging his brother’s one-sided loss. Furthermore, Alvarez also remarked that he cannot forget the trash talk that both the Charlo brothers did.
Subsequently, the fight announcement did catch fans off guard. However, Charlo was supposed to fight Alvarez before the Munguia fight was announced. Boxing fans are still unhappy with this Alvarez vs. Charlo fight since they consider it a horrible matchup.

As mentioned earlier, Alvarez is the favored fighter to win the upcoming bout against Munguia. However, surprisingly enough, the undisputed middle champion is actually a bit wary about his opponent. Furthermore, while many fans have demanded that he fight David Benavidez, Saul instead praised his fight against the young Mexican fighter.
During an interview with TUDN, Alvarez revealed that he chose Munguia as an opponent because he had earned it. Saul also remarked how he is very proud that two Mexicans will be fighting for the four world titles.
Furthermore, while he is confident, Saul still acknowledges Munguia’s skill and hunger as a young fighter. Hence, he believes it will be a great fight as the two fighters will test their resolve against each other. Alvarez also remarked that it would be a classic Mexican brawl.
